Colleen Smith, the daughter of Todd and Carol Smith, is Holmen High School’s Student of the Week.
Smith, who is in show choir and was in the spring musical, was nominated as Student of the Week by choir teacher Marilyn Lee. Smith “has gone the extra mile for our choir by choreographing a song. She’s always cheerful and encouraging with her classmates and tries to do her best,” Smith said.
Colleen said that her favorite thing about choir is singing all the time and creating choreography for songs.
Her favorite movie is “Rent” and her favorite book is “The Rangers Apprentice” series.
After high school, Colleen plans to go to a college with a good music program as well as visit Ireland. Her advice for other students: “Just have fun!”
