Monday, May 19
9:05 a.m. — A 21-year-old man reported someone had slashed the tire of his truck over the weekend while it was parked on the 1000 block of Green Street.
7:48 p.m. — A 33-year-old man and a 22-year-old woman are suspected of issuing numerous bad checks in Minnesota and Wisconsin. The case was referred to the district attorney’s office after they wrote a check for $138.04 at a Kwik Trip on Highway 16.
Tuesday, May 20
11:31 a.m. — A 43-year-old Onalaska man reported a theft from his utility shed on the 900 block of 12th Avenue South. A Honda generator valued at $850, a 90 hp Honda outboard motor worth $9,100 and a pair of 10x50 Sworoski binoculars worth $1,400 were stolen.
3:11 p.m. — A 16-year-old girl was arrested and referred to juvenile services for criminal damage to property for breaking two windows of her home in separate incidents. Her home had been locked so that she could not enter it when she was supposed to be at school.
3:27 p.m. — A 28-year-old La Crosse woman was arrested for stealing $379.80 worth of merchandise from the Wal-Mart on Market Place. She was to be sentenced the following day for another incident and was on Justice Sanctions.
Wednesday, May 21
5:03 p.m. — A 38-year-old man was arrested for battery and disorderly conduct after physically and verbally assaulting his stepdaughter at their home on the 300 block of Eighth Avenue North.
Sunday, May 25
10:19 a.m. — A 47-year-old man reported someone had stolen a flatbed trailer valued at $1,500 from his yard on the 1100 block of Wilson Street.
Monday, May 26
6:47 p.m. — A 33-year-old man reported someone had broken into his parents’ house while they were away. Someone over the weekend had broken into the home on the 600 block of 11th Avenue North. It was “as if someone had thrown a party,” leaving beer cans, cigarette butts, a broken chair and evidence of food preparation as there were several bowls of macaroni and cheese about the home. Several neighbors had heard people at the residence over the weekend and described three young men to police.

Midnight — A Kwik Trip employee reported a gas driveoff of $22.01 from the store on Crossing Meadows Drive.

Monday, May 19
4:52 p.m. — A 17-year-old boy was cited for criminal trespass and theft after stealing four 6-foot long black iron truck frame pieces from a business on the 600 block of Western Avenue and taking them to a recycling place. He got $23.40 for 260 pounds of metal. The boy said he thought the material was trash and offered to make restitution to the owner.
6:24 p.m. — A resident on the 900 block of Starlite Drive reported someone had dropped off a tree in the yard.

7:36 a.m. — A resident on the 900 block of Linden Drive reported a student waiting for a school bus picks up a rock each morning and throws them at the windows of the apartment building.
6:48 p.m. — A 42-year-old man reported someone had siphoned 15 gallons of gas from his car while it was parked overnight on the 1500 block of Viking Avenue.
8:25 p.m. — A woman on the 1500 block of Viking Drive reported a teen has been harassing kids at Viking Park. The youth was found further down the street and there were reports he brandished a gun at a 10-year-old girl. It was not a real gun, but a pellet gun. The report did not say what action was taken.

9:56 a.m. — A Viking Elementary employee reported someone had stolen 25 full bags of aluminum cans from the caged area overnight and the caged area was flattened.
10:34 a.m. — A woman reported a student had threatened her 10-year-old son while on the school bus coming home from Evergreen Elementary.
5:48 p.m. — The Kwik Trip reported a gas drive-off of $60.01. The same plates are recorded in five other gas drive-offs.

8:05 p.m. — A woman reported a bike belonging to her 11-year-old son had been stolen from the 2000 block of Crooked Avenue and that five kids had come after him, one of them with a chain.
Friday, May 23
3:43 p.m. — A teacher at Evergreen Elementary reported her wallet had been stolen while at school. The wallet had about $90 in cash as well as her checkbook and credit cards.
6:54 p.m. — A 43-year-old woman was arrested for domestic disorderly conduct and domestic criminal damage to property. The woman was having a garage sale at her home on the 1100 block of Stuhr Court when her soon-to-be ex-husband arrived with the children. He was taking pictures of some of the belongings and she grabbed the camera and threw it on the ground, damaging it. She then began swearing at the husband in front of her children.

11:47 p.m. — A 29-year-old man was arrested in relation to a domestic incident on the N9000 block of Highway 53 for throwing a chair at his wife causing injury.
Monday, May 26
9:13 a.m. — A woman reported someone had stolen the radio from her boyfriend’s car while it was parked on the 200 block of Flora Court. The stereo is valued at $300. She said the driver’s side door had been left unlocked.
